    Hi Folks,

My laptop is on its way out. I want to upgrade it. I'm looking to upgrade the RAM (not an issue) & the hardrive to a small SSD drive & windows 7.

    this is my laptop here.

    http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?pn=PB42D00401&g=1400

However the HDD is an EIDE interface. Can it be changed/converted with an adapter to a S-ATA interface??

I found the below product for this but don't know whether it would work in a Laptop?

Even if it did work would I still see a big difference in Boot time etc?

Do yee think I can run windows 7 on a Celeron M processor & motherboard

    Thanks for any help!
