Hi there. I got this game when it first came out and there was no "game of the year" edition. To be honest game of the year sounds like a marketing ploy. I think you would be fine to go with the standard copy.

I checked now and it says the game of the year edition has 18 extra levels and some extra items / stickers whatever. But if you connect to the internet you can play all the user created levels without the game of the year edition and theres hundreds of thousands of them. The best part of the game for me was creating my own levels which again you can do without having game of the year.

*waves* Hi Ray, long time no see :)

+1 to getting the standard edition. You may not even like it, in which case you'll only have wasted €10 as opposed to €23, and the GOTY edition doesn't have any vital extras with it anyway.

    Hello.

    Turded.

Tried the beta and was quite unimpressed.

Might pick it up cheap now though, as I missed out on the user created content, which I guess is the main draw...
Where did you see it for a tenner, OP?

I think he mentioned PLAY in the OP.

Fantastic game overall. The single-player pre-built levels are fantastic as well as the map packs [MGS and PotC]. Pick those up ASAP.

Yeah, I checked on play earlier but they don't have any new copies available at that price

If you were unimpressed with the Beta then you'll be left wanting with the full game. The retail copy offers very little over the Beta.
