    Hi there

I've a Hewlet Packard 2280 Printer-Scanner combi. Was shopping around for colourblack cartridges and saw they seriously cost a bomb in bricks-and-mortar shops.

Does anyone know of a good e-tailer offering cartridges at a decent price? Thanks for any advice guys.

I use ebay, simply the cheapest, I also picked up a few bottles of ink and some syringes, now I refill my cartridges myself, works out at around 80c a refill, whereas you pay E15 a cartridge refill in my local shop for my cartridges.

There is a new company providing this service in Dublin now. They take in your cartridges and bring them to a factory, where they are completely remanufactured and professionally refilled by a technician, so the quality never suffers. Simply refilling your cartridges at home or in refill store can result in very poor performance and even leaking.

There are heaps of Eco Cartridge shops around Dublin, they are mainly in dry-cleaners/cobblers-shops that offer a drop off remanufacturing service already.

To have the cartridge remanufactured and refilled with Eco Cartridge is cheaper than what the refill stores are charging. This way you get a cheaper cartridge, with guaranteed high quality and you are recycling so therefore helping the planet :)

You can click here to find the drop point closest to you: http://www.ecocartridge.ie/map.html
