    Hi All,

    Just looking for advice.
We intend to part tile an ensuite, so just tiling around shower, above sink and
the floor. Can I run skirting around the rest of the walls or what do people
normally do in this case, could i use a tile upstand all the way round.

You can do either but I always think a 150mm tile skirting all round looks far smarter. That's what I'd specify in this sort of situation.

skirting tiles have a glazed finish on the top edge so they dont require a tile trim which wouldnt look the best anyway

we have half the bathroom done that way and have skirting on the rest, looks well tbh, got the 5" (i think) skirting, varnished it, takes the plain look off the other walls not tiled

You could use a profile that sits behind the tile and gives a finished edge to the top of the tile like the Rondec profile.
