iPhone 3Gs 3.13, unlockable yet?

Hi,
Just wondering is there any news on a jailbreak for 3.13 firmware yet and if not, is there any way to downgrade to 3.12 to unlock that?

I just want to unlock the phone to any network to sell it as it's currently locked to Vodafone IRELAND only.

Any feedback appreciated

as in the stickies on this forum, there is still no unlock available, as i wanted to know this myself the other day.

you can only downgrade the firmware if you had it jailbroken before you upgraded to 3.1.3 as the jailbroken file has a copy of the older firmware saved in there somewhere iirc.

might not be the best technical explanation im sorry.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I'm subscribed to a few threads on it and it seemed to be very close to a jailbreak release but then I haven't heard anything in about 3 weeks so just thought I'd start a new thread and ask about the downgrading while I'm at it

I thought that blackrain guy was very close as he got the ipad done apparently

Yes, geo will launch limera1n after os4.0/iphone 4g comes out apparently.
He can already jailbreak 3.13 and the current baseband but is holding off to save that exploit to unlock the new phone/os.

Hmm, decisions decisions. Will my iPhone 3Gs 16GB be worth more now, locked to VF IRL, or unlocked, but after the new one is released

If you get offered 400-450 i'd take it...

New iPhone around the corner will pretty much (guessing) be 500-600 euro so the 3GS will be dropping down in price, espcially second hand and there will be cheaper ones thats are jailbroken unlocked.

Just my 2 cents.

Brand new only opened to activate . Locked to vf , lad of my mates football forum bought it from me

I see that the 3.13 with old boot rom is unlockable? Is this true? How can you tell if you have the old boot rom? Mine was bought from VodaFone about 2 weeks ago..

If it's 2 weeks old from Vodafone then it is extremely unlikely to be running the old bootrom .
To check you can put you phone into DFU mode and plug it into iTunes . A display will show you the current config (Inc iBoot type) ... Bet it 359.3.2 but.

Thanks, yeah it's probably the new one alright. Not going to install itunes to check anyway and I'll assume it is

hey guys,
just looking for a bit of advice.. im contemplating buying a new iphone from the states as they are dirt cheap there but am concerned with the fact that it may be hard to unlock the phone to run on meteor IE network.. any advice on which model to buy? eg. the 3.13 firmware??

My 3GS is definitely the OLD bootrom (i.e. 3.1.3), is it unlockable, do you reckon?

I jailbroke my iPhone(3.13) last week with that spiritjb thing! Worked great on it, no problems yet!

3.1.3 is the firmware, not the bootrom.
