    I applied for a job with a company on their website last monday but havent heard anything yet so im thinking that i should ring them tomorrow because iv heard this is how you get jobs these days? What questions should I ask them without sounding rude/pushy?

    It depends on the company and the position. Also, when was the stated closing date for applications? If the closing date hasnt passed yet then they wont have made a decision yet.

    Still, it would do no harm to give them a call to see if they got your application.

    Not sure when the closing date was, but the vacancy was taken down off the site last wednesday so presume that was the closing date
