Renault Clio III - missing part off door and need help finding out what it is :)

Hey, I have a 3 door, 2006 clio new model and behind the door handle there is this black piece around an inch lone by half inch in height. Its missing on passager side door....would I be right in saying its something to do with the securty system?

I have black tape coving the hole but want to fix it on the cheap, dont wanna get ripped off by main dealer.

Haha nice one Dartz....ah its being like this 2 months now and water keeps getting in. Dont want the window motor to break from the water.

In all seriousness, a bit of ducttape will do it for you, that's what it was originally invented for, after all.

Nice one pie-man, I attached two photos, one with the plastic part on one door and the door without it.

Its a 2006 Clio 1.4 16v

how expensive can a piece of plastic be?

think it's a blanker, high spec models with auto lock/unlock have sensors where those yokes go.
