My school have organised a trip to Poland for the October midterm break this year in which I will be in 6th year. The main focus of this trip will be a day-long tour of the Auschwitz Concentration Camps.
The Holocaust is about one fifth of my LC History course and I am doing it as part of the curriculum.
    The tour will cost 460 euro and it will cover the following with no extra expense added;
    Return flights
Executive coach hire for the duration of the tour
2 nights at the central Wyspianski Hotel
    Buffet Breakfast
Guided tour of Krakow (capital city of Poland)
    Guided tour of Jewish Quarter
    Schlinders list factory
Full day to Auschwitz and guided tour
    Fully comprehensive travel insurance
All travel taxes, security levies, fees & baggage charged by airline
    Evening meal in restaurant

I want to go on the trip but the price sounds deer for only 2 nights away. Do you guys/gals think it is worth it because my teacher said its the cheapest she could get

it's not a bad deal to be honest. isn't warsaw the capital of poland though?

i've been to auschwitz and it's certainly eye opening.

You could get it cheaper, but there would be a lot of hassle involved.

I'm not sure you could be right.
I went to Poland before and I thought Krakow was the capital because it is the city we landed in. Could be Warshaw though.
Ye i'd say auschwitz is unreal, I would love to go on the trip, hopefully I will be able to afford it.

Warsaw is the capital city and the tour of Auschwitz is well worth doing.

The price might seem high compared to what it would cost to book yourself but that's because you never get the cheapest airfares for group bookings (and fares are higher for school holidays).
