Kilcock Badminton Club Graded Open Tournament

    Hi There!!

    Theres been a few posts on badminton on here the last few weeks, and so said id post this here aswell.

    Basically, its the end of the season now and we decided the other night that we should run a tournament to keep the interest up around the club and with any clubs nearby.

    So, on the 22nd and 23rd of this month we are planning on running a graded tournament for every division player.

    We will likely have 6 classes.

    We currently have a good crowd with a good few badminton clubs agreeing to come along.

    So its early stages and only having a meeting tonight to finalise it but wondering was there any interest here??

    We still have to get application sorted etc. SOOO!!

    Any interest?? :)

    PS. kilcock is about 20 mins out past liffey valley on the m4!

    Do you mean the 22nd and 23rd of May as today is already the 26th of this month?

    Also, will each class be playing on both days or will it be different classes on different days?

    Heya!

    Sorry ye :) its the 22nd and 23rd of May. Plan to get the application to Leinster Bad. by tomorrow to start getting proper applications.

    No we thinking to run 4-6 on saturday and 1-3 on the sunday so players wont be hanging around needlessly for 2 days.

    Hows the work on your tournament progressing? I'd like to have played in it but unfortunately am unavailable that weekend.

    We've had to reschedule it to a later date. Was a bit short notice and bad timing for alot of people. Will probably have it in september this year, get everyone back into it.

    Probably the wrong time of year for it allright! I'll keep an eye out here for it next season so:).

    Ye! ill be posting again either way. There were a couple of things stopping us this time.
