    Hi,

Thinking about getting broadband UPC as they have arrived in my area.

My question is to those who have it and are on either the Cisco or the Scientifica Atlantic (or whatever it is called) equipment: can you do QoS on them?

    Thanks :)

I wasn't sure to post this here or in the Net & Comms forum....

Nope. To get proper QoS, you would need a router capable of taking a third-party open source firmware to do it for you.

Something like this flashed with this works great on my UPC line. I can be playing away on the PS3 online and downloading full belt on a PC at the same time without any problems.
