2007 Toyota Land Cruiser

Looking at a 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser at the moment and was just wondering if there are any known issues with these? The car is a diesel, manual transmission with 90,000 KM.

It's not a commercial, though most of the ones on Carzone seem to be so it's hard to compare prices. Most of those are asking for around the €18-19K mark. Any idea what this one would would be worth, roughly (2007, 90,000 KM, Diesel, Manual, 7 Seater)?

    Thanks

Probably better in the 4x4 subforum.
Anyway, the 120 series have problems with sludging of engine oil and subsequent big end failure, it is known by Toyota and they have a campaign to replace the injector washers with copper ones.
It is caused by Blowby on the injectors.
The passenger version is nice but the tax will be quite high compared to the Commercial version.

We had several in work that got recalled on an injector issue.

8 seaters were twice the price of the commercials when new, and most passenger ones were auto with leather. cloth manual ones should be treated with caution as many were bought by country/builder types. I'd look for an 8 seat auto with leather if I were you.
You get heated electric seats in the leather pack

The one I'm looking at has leather and is an 8 seater, my mistake saying 7 earlier.

Any idea what kind of money these are going for at the moment?

I'd be aiming for 30k on an 07. buy from main dealer and make sure any relevant recalls have been done and that it has a service history.
LC5 UK import models look attractive but take above advice especially seriously with these and be aware that warranty work will take a bit longer on these as work needs to be passed by Toyota GB before being done.
