Big difference is the Processor and Graphics card.
Detailed reasoning for why i should choose either would be hugely helpful

Would like to try my hand at some video editing but mainly it will just be for college course work and a bit of Footie Manager 2010/2011 and maybe some Left4Dead etc.

What is the intended use for the laptop?
If it were me i'd go with the first one. But without knowing what you're going to be using it for i can't really advise.

It's the Inspiron 15i, slightly customized with better Gfx Card and Ram
