Planespotting at Dublin Airport

    Hi all,

    Im Fairly new to photography and I would like to get some photographs of planes taking-off and Landing at dublin airport, however i havent been up that side of the M-50 and dont know the area well, Could someone tell me where the good spots, viewing areas are for taking pictures of planes?

    If your coming up the old airport road turn left before the airport entrance and that will bring you up the side of runway 28/10 and there is a spot to pull in if theres space available normally its fairly crowded

    There shouldnt be any at all as 20 cars i think can fit in there. if dub are using runway 10 go down to the longterm carpark as it has a nice hill on it and you can park along side. go up the hill it will give you a nice vantage point for your shots. Dont forget to give us all a look in in the avaiation pictures link on the forum :)
