orthotics for hip problem?

I have a tight hip and IT band,I went to a Physio and he said i should get orthotics,they are expensive but i dont mind getting them if they sorted out the problem,Would ye recommend them for this problem?

You can't really expect the internet to overrule your physio.
You have been examined by a professional, nobody here has examined you, so even if the suspect this is a bit extreme, they can't say anything worth listening to about it.

If you are worried about it, you could try getting an opinion from a different physio.
