eBay.ie or eBay.com and effective searching?

I want to buy a Nexus One phone from eBay but I get seem to get entirely different results when searching eBay.ie and eBay.com with the default locations and apparently even custom locations set.

I appreciate that .ie is based in Ireland but it also gives worldwide sellers items that differ entirely from that of eBay.com. On top of that eBay.com gives the location options of eBay.com or worldwide and I'm curious as to the difference?

How do I effectively search everywhere preferably displaying the price in Euro without having to use both sites separately?

I would search .ie by default as they list everyone prepared to ship to Ireland. Other than that, mail the seller & ask them will they ship here with you paying an additional premium.

I don't think anyone actually knows, but if they do I'd love to hear.

I always add "item located in" for searches as that removes thousands of items from HK, china etc.

    Really don't think you can?

Is it really a bad idea to buy from those places?

I wonder if I can make ebay.com display the price in Euro. I searched their help databases and it mentions the billing currency but I think that may just be how the transaction goes through rather than how it's displayed on the site for each item.

Don't buy anything with a Brand name from China HK etc as it WILL be a fake, thats what they do. Cheap stuff from there is great and I buy lots of unbranded computer parts and cables.

The Euro price isn't what you actually pay anyway its always converted so its less, so once you know the rough price in dollars why would you need to see it in euros?
