The 2nd 50/50 cracking fight tonight.

If Adamek is able to box and move he just may be able to pull it off, but if he starts trading with Arreola at any point(even if he's hurt him) it spells disaster.
While I think Adamek will dominate for the most part I think Arreola's power will be too much and he'll catch up with him at some point.

Arreola late stoppage for me.

I like Adamek a lot but I find it very hard to pick him in this one. He is the better skilled fighter and I expect him to box well in the early rounds and establish a lead. I feel he'll need to use a lot of movement and sooner or later Arreola will catch up with him. Estrada was wearing him down towards the end of their fight. Arreola is obviously a much bigger puncher than Estrada and I'm not sure Adamek will be able to take a good shot from a hard-punching heavyweight. I also don't think he really has the power to discourage Arreola.

So, I'm saying Adamek to box well and win the early rounds but Arreola will come on, catch up with him and stop him around the 8th round.

Arreola wins this me thinks, i just think he has too much power and he's a tough guy as well so he'll keep coming forward through Adameks punches.

Adamek boxed very well. He seemed to be getting tired after 4/5 but he seemed to get a second wind.

I think he clearly won the fight. Let's hope the judges are fair and do their jobs like they should.

I only caught it a few minutes after you posted the link.
From what I seen he boxed smart all right.I wonder is Arreola's hand broke?
Glad he got the decision, won a few bob.

That last judge was a bit out with the 117

His hand was definitely hurt in around the 10th round I think, maybe earlier. It's probably broken.

how can 2 judges see the fight so differently? its ridicolous. cant comment on the fight i haven seen it yet

The 114-114 card was just plain wrong, and the 115-113 was possibly a little close. Anywhere from 116-112, to 118-110 would suit me, but generally any score card with Adamek winning is fine because in the end he deserved to win and the main thing is he done just that, whether the cards were 120-108 or 115-114.

Yeah i scored it 116-114 for Adamek, good performance from him just kept good movement and good speed against chubby Arreola.
Arreolas interview was pretty funny as usual, cursed his head off again.

Adamek has a very good chin and decent power to go along with his speed. Arreola seems like a very nice guy- maybe that's the problem, along with his love of junk food. Credit to him for not looking for excuses and agreeing that the better man won.

That's because he seems to train very hard, it's just he eats far too much.
So he's very fit, just overweight at the same time. The extra weight really does affect his mobility though, he was a Light-heavyweight as an amateur and I think with his punching power he'd be a very dangerous proposition to anyone at Heavyweight if he came in light.

Unfortunately his desire to eat is great than his desire to be Heavyweight Champion.
