Summer Camp for 13 years old boy.

Hi, Everyone!
My son is in secondary school, first year.... It means i don't have any expirience of... what i need to do with him for whole month, june... I have another son and he is SI, he is going to stay in the school till end of june... I'm looking for summer camps for my old one for the same time. It could be a sport camp, or language or science or something that can keep him busy while young one in the school. Maybe someone knows some irish speaking camp. I can't send him far because it's too expensive for us.. can you help me, please.;)

tbh tho unless you want the typical gaeltacht camp most seem aimed at primary age kids

Bray sailing club run summer sailing courses from the start of june. I couldn't find this year's info on their website but last year's info is still up and it was EUR168 per week.

Further afield there's this place (and a fair few others in Dun Laoighre) http://www.inss.ie/Course_Prices_2010/Default.286.html who seem to operate a sliding scale fee based on how many weeks the kids sign up for.

Other than that I'm really struggling to think of summer camps he'd even be interested in doing tbh unless he wanted to go to the gaeltacht. Does he actually want to do a summer camp?

It's difficult to say. May be NO, he doesn't want to do it. But would you imagine: Whole month only tv, psp, computer.. It will make me crazy. We live in new place for us and he doesn't have a friend on new road. It's mean if he is home he doesn't want to go outside, he is kind of shy to make a new friend.. This why i'm warry that he will be stay indoor most of the days....:(

There is a good irish camp in Blackrock, Bru Eanna Cois Life, my kids love it. They have a website. Will get back to you with it. Hope this helps somewhat.
