Massive game. If we can't be up for it after Spurs losin then we deserve nothing.

Anything less thsn three points is a disaster.

Didn't figure you for Sun/Star/Mirror sensationalism Xavi :P

You'll still get 4th regardless of todays result imo.

Anyone know any pubs in Dublin showing this? Preferably Arsenal friendly ones. :)

Any chance Wenger will start rvp this evening ?

Arsenal's injury list could prove their downfall in this game.

RVP is the glimmer of hope!

hopefully if he is fully fit, arsenal are a different team with him the focal point of their attacks.

cmon the Arse, it' be great if Villa some how got back into the race for 4th this weekend with Spurs and City both losing. Villa vs City next week would be nice too.

Im not fully confident though as Man City have been very good recently despite losing to Utd last week so i hope Arsenal bring it today and the players they need to step up do (The likes of Nasri or Walcott who when on form can really shine in this Arsenal team).

I reckon that's the reason he wasn't started against Wigan last weekend, to keep him fresh for today.

Pessimism has taken over though and I see City hammering us.

1652: Emmanuel Adebayor is on the bench for Manchester City against his old club Arsenal at the Emirates today. More team news in due course.

Strong enough team, would have preferred to see Bendtner start over Rosicky though.

Balls. Brought him into my FF team this week for this game. At least I didn't stick the captaincy on him.

Would rather see Eastmond start than Diaby, be nice to see him given as much game time as possible before the end of the season, I'd like to think he could be good enough to cover directly for Song next season instead of relying on the ever inconsistent Diaby.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,081 ✭✭✭peabutler

Good to see an Arsenal legend playing the Emirates in Paddy V, hopefully Diaby will destroy him.

As a Spurs fan it pains me, but come on Arsenal!

City lose today and we are clear favourites for 4th, and could even be more than 3pts clear of City when we meet, I fancy Villa to take points off them, and would hope Spurs would beat Bolton at home.

Fourth place for Spurs hinges on the Arse today imo....

If only RVP had a right foot that would have been a good chance.

City to win; nice one from Toure...

Btw; why is there so much attention on Adebayour???
That incident was last year, surely Arsenal fans are over that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,496 ✭✭✭quarryman

    ESPN

    dammit. thanks.

Well it's his first visit to the Emirates since he left and since those ridiculous antics at City.

Whats City fans opinions on bridge? I think he's a bit overrated myself.

ffs! Mancini has gone defensive again. Say what you like about spurs and Redknapp, at least he went for it.

Much more than just that incident though.

Nasri really needs to get into this game with the absence of fabergas and arshavin as a creative source for RVP

I agree, but it's time to move on.... He was yapping away with the Arsenal lads before the game started. So i guess all is good :)

The only thing that matters to Adebayor is Adebayor.

I think thats what most Arsenal fans have against him.

Arsenal sold him! At the end of the day it's a job!! We'll never be clear on what happened...

Is this Mike Dean's first PL match after the United Chelsea game?

And supporters are supporters, vast majority of Arsenal fans don't like him, which you will hear when he comes on.

I think players should be told look if you tell me to give another player a card you can have one then there can be no arguing about it

Agreed. Only player to talk to the ref should be the captain. Anyone else, booked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

That's just awful. Vieira should've been booked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

Campbell has been in such great form, England anyone? :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,211 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

This game is so bad. They should just call it a day now and end it 0-0.

Deserves a call up imo, starts the season at Notts County, ends the season winning the world cup imo

City haven't been able to support the attack properly and arsenal cant cut through the defense.
