    On CH4 last night at 1030pm, anyone catch it? I am a huge fan of the podcasts, and I think they did a really great job of distilling the hour long shows into 20-25 mins, and the animated scenes are quality.

    Have watched the first 7 episodes of this. Really enjoying it. Had heard of the podcasts before but never actually listened to them. What the hell is wrong with Karl Pilkington?

    Have listened to all the XFM shows, podcasts and specials at least 3 or 4 times each. Absolutely love them. Cant really get into the tv show though. The animation just seems unnecessary.

    I couldn't agree more. I've watched most of the animated shows now; and i get tired of it before the show is out; which never happened with the podcasts. Maybe it's that it's obvious that the show is a converted podcast; with animations expounding their points; it feels like the animations are trying to be funny; but it's completely unnecessary.

    I do think that Ricky's far too mean to Carl sometimes; especially since Carl is the driving force for each show. Without Carl's ridiculously funny, stupid musings, there'd be no podcast!

    I've listened to the XFM shows/Podcasts/Guide to... shows countless times, theyre brilliant!! Just... im not interested in this show because, well because I have heard them countless times, its old hat to me.


    And Karl is a genius.
