Jim McKevitt 0-6 Peter Hudson in the Prelims.

    Brendan Dolan 3-6 Mark Cox

William O Connor 2-6 Mark Webster

    Mick McGowan 1-6 Robert Thornton.

Where is Jim McKevitt from? He must be sick of all the 6-0 hammerings he's getting, can't be doing his confidence much good

All out already but some very tough first round draws today. Tomorrow is another very important day though in the race to get into the last 96 and qualify for the TV stages of the UK Open in June.

A bad day at the office for the Irish contingent but roll on tomorrow to the UK Open qualifiers where all these players have an opportunity to win some money which could qualify them for the televised stages.

The PDC website has been down all day but i'm after getting some results through a UK darts site. Willie O'Connor beat Matt Clark 6-2 in his 1st round game and went on to play Wayne Mardle in the 2nd round where he lost 6-5. Unlucky for Willie but still it's £200 more towards the UK Open order of merit. Mick McGowan also reached the 2nd round where he got knocked out by Colin Osborne 6-4 but good to see Mick starting to find some of his old form.

As regards qualification for the UK Open,Mick McGowan currently has £1000 earned in the rankings and he's now safely qualified for Bolton. Willie O'Connor is currently on £500 in the rankings and another £200 in the last UK Open qualifier will defintley guarantee his qualification but he could qualify on £500,last year players including Anastasia Dobromyslova qualified with that amount.
