BC Coilovers

    Hi was looking to buy koni adjustable shocks and springs for a corolla gti when I spotted fensport are selling BC coilovers for an AE101 levin non ss which will bolt in to my corolla,

    Just wondering has anybody any info or experience with these units they look good and the reports so far that I have read have all been good?

    The BC coilovers are very good units. There are a good few time attack cars in the UK using them.

    heard nothing but good things myself, whats the price on a set , my room mate is looking for something himself, though he is SuperStrut himself.

    Work out at €780+delivery for superstrut/non superstrut from fensport,was also looking at Ksport for around €815 to my door from the U.S not sure if id have to pay some import duty on that?
    Looking for somthing well made and that will last me for a few years.

    Well the one thing to keep in mind is that coilovers are not designed for road use so no matter what brand you get the adjustments will seize up without regular disassembly/cleaning and the pillow ball mounts will not hold up to big miles of road use

    I think the customs charge on anything outside of the EU is like 21-25% of the total cost including shipping

    Yea thats true about the topmounts maybe I could use new rubber topmounts for the road and change over to the solid mounts for a track day to get the suspension set up correctly,

    Also I knew a lad who would greese the sleeve and wrap it neatly in clingfilm and cable tie around them to keep them free and protected from water and mud worked very well,
