Creepiest Voice Ever!!!

    Who would you reckon has the creepiest voice in broadcasting these days?

    If I were asked the same question a few years ago, I would have to say Georgie Burgess from The Snapper saying "Are ya alright Sharon?" - Mates at the time used to creep up behind others and whisper that line to guarantee scaring the b'jaysus out of anyone!

    These days, thanks to recent adverts, I would have to say Georgie has been replaced with Gerry Daly. Hearing his monotonous, drab tone during adverts makes me punch the mute button for fear of boarding school memories....and I never went to boarding school! :confused:

    believe it or not its Jean Byrne on the rte weather, the way you can hear her intake of breath is freaky, i cant listen to her. mute all the way

    A couple of weeks ago, I'd have said Gordon Brown, but now it's got to by Cameron (not broadcasters, I know....)

    The over-excited guy who deos the E4 intros....

    Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Not a broadcaster, but...

    The dulcet, cultured, meliflious tones of Anthony Hopkins playing Hannibal Lecter freaks me out like no other characters voice ever has.

    I was waaaay too young to watch that movie.

    Stephen Nolan has the most annoying. Creepy though belongs to Kay Burley when she is in "sympathetic" mode (ie being a real bitch).
