With a lot of skill you could make one from an SVD, but an out of the box one would be very easy for an airsoft manufacturer to do, like a manufacturer already making svd's.

you can make one, seen it done before, you can use the a&k svd with some fabrication hardest technical area is rigging up the forward trigger system
this guy made the best one i've seen, aeg using aug trigger system and kings arms svd ( which the a&k version is a clone of)

tbh it is something i;ve been thinking about making once the a7k svd becomes avaliable again in force

I'm not really a fan of Soviet/Russian stuff, and I normally cant stand bullpup configurations, but I have to say, I've always had a soft spot for that.

I'd love an airsoft version myself.

I must talk nice to Richie next week :)

The real one has a 100mm shorter barrel, a shortened gas tube, the grip is on the forward part of the receiver which has the side rail on it, again moved forward. Then there are the iron sights which flip up, and the muzzle brake.

Thats your mod list, it certainly is a cool gun, the real one can also have a built in bipod.
