Did you look into the logistics of running it so that both matches play the same hands?

Yes we thought about all the best ways to run the event and we thought the clearest and easiest would be 2 players playing separately,

Thanks we have added your team to the list, please be here no later than 8.45pm on Wednesday.

19 teams already registered, should be a great event.

Anyone who is interested, but doesn't have a partner can be paired up on the night, theres lots of decent players looking for partners!

Intersting idea. How does it work? Also how do collusion etc?

We will try to separate partners where possible, the score for each team is given by the combined total of the partners finishing positions i.e if you finish in 3rd and your partner finishes in 11th you have a combined score of 14 (3+11). Collusion is not allowed, but almost impossible to completely prevent. Any verbal collusion between partners (saying to check it down etc.) is not allowed.
