Imagine yourself guys going to summer vacation with your Irish reg car and being stoped somewhere in Spain where policeman happily gives you a fine for driving without Spanish insurance, road tax and nct. What would you say then?
Scots are just hilarious with their greed.

I doubt this guy was on holidays. Im sure he was working, paying national insurance contributions / claiming benefit (whichever) and had a Scottish postal address rather than just being a tourist.

The guy was living and working in Scotland for years at the time he was stopped. He is a Scottish resident.

it's all well and good until you're trying to claim off a foreign insurance company

    Which you don't do.

Any claims involving foreign insurers are dealt with by the MIBI.
