Sounds like a problem with the airnozzle
Take out the mag and turn it upside down and look in the feed tube while firing the gun in semi, you should be able to see if the airnozzle is moving freely back and forth

If it's been opened up back, check if there's a little piece of black rubber between the back of the gearbox and the backplate. It's used to keep the gearbox forward a little bit further so you can get a good airseal. If it's missing, the gearbox sits further back resulting in a poor airseal and BBs f@rting out of the barrel.

To be honest, if BBs aren't coming out at all, it's probably something more involved than the above.

If they are able to fall out the barrel by aiming it down at the ground it would suggest hopup rubber/lip is the problem. would require a little investigation though. :)
