Did anyone see this on tuesday night?
It was about cars and how everybody should drive eco friendly cars.
It had probably the most outrageously imbalanced comparision I've ever seen.

We were given the yearly running costs and CO2 of an A and G rated car.
    The comparision was :
A rated car doing 5km a day, yearly running costs of 230 and 0.5 tons CO2
G rated car doing 100km a day, yearly running costs 15,000 and 30 tons CO2

60 times more CO2 Duncan excitedly tells us, of course it also does 34,675 kilometers more than the A rated car
Does this program frequently produce these types of skewed comparisions?

Oh it certainly does my friend. Duncan "I'm greener than the greens" Stewart would have us all living in caves licking moss off the walls and not farting as this would increase the methane in the atmosphere.

This two faced plonker used to do his house building shows years ago and he'd turn up on site in the biggest people carrier/4WD you could buy at the time but lately, he's gone all environmentally conscious on us and everything has to be sustainable, renewable, recycled yada yada yada

He did a show that traced the course of the Liffey from the mountains where the water quality was "superb" and it deteriorated as it went downstream due to farmers, one off houses, villages, towns and of course Dublin City. It seems to me that our Duncan would be ecstatic if us nasty humans would remove ourselves from the landscape and stop causing pollution to "his" beautiful land.

I'd be interested to see where he lives, as I've a sneaking feeling its some huge pile of bricks in a leafy suburb of Dublin. His type spout how the rest of us should be green and eco friendly but they tend not to apply the same laws to themselves.
