Just splash a bit of tomato ketchup on some bread and walla! Something filling and tasty :P I told some people I ate these a while ago and they looked at me like I had two heads!

The same thing happened when I said I had crisp sandwiches. The look on their faces was of pure bewilderment. I always thought they were fairly normal growing up, but apparently not. Someone back me up! Anyone else ever have these?

Crisp sandwiches are ok but red sauce is a bit mad.

That's what you get if you go anywhere near a roasted fanny.

A tomato sauce sandwich has to be the most boring sandwich known to man..
The crisp sandwich however is a real winner.. Hunky dorys FTW..

I saw a girl in work here eating a slice of toast with tomato sauce on it, i called her a fag and left the room.

Which i thought pretty much summed up my opinion on that particular sandwich.

    sugar sandwiches are called 'goodie'

but 'goodie' is really bread with sugar soaked in milk.

    yackkh! *cringe!/shiver!*

Those were the days, and they were definitely better than the vomit-inducing tomato sauce abomination.

Tomato sauce for chip and in burgers.

But it should not be let near a sandwich. The worst is putting tomato sauce on breakfast rolls or on a fry, its blasphemy!!!

My sister is the pits, she mixes tomato sauce through her curries and bolognaise etc and refuses to eat any dinner without it.

Hooray for the tomato ketchup and crisp sambos! But why has no one mentioned the all time best banana sambo.

    Ingredients:

2 slices of soft white bread
    Butter
    1 banana

    prep time approx 30 seconds

    Instructions:

Take your two slices of bread and cover generously with butter.
Peel your banana and slice from left to right.
place sliced banana on bread and cover with your second slice of bread and consume. Heaven

    Tomato sauce sambos, eh no!
Chips and tomato sauce sambos, now you're talking!

Nicest ever sambos are, in order of deliciousness (no corespondence will be entered into!)

    1. Sausage sambos (hot is good, but preferably cold)
    2. Stew sambos, hot
    3. Sheperds pie sambos, (cold is good, but hot preferably)

    Yum
