    there is a 7k run in doughiska, register at castlegar sports complex on dublin rd, fee 10e, refreshments after, organised by a GCH member. Starts at 7pm.

    Nothing to do with the organisation, just saw the signs up and thought people might be interested.

    It's for a local cause, it's voluntary, no one HAS to run.

    I think it's great that someone is organising something where the local community will benefit and where people from a new area will get a chance to participate in something and socialise together for a good cause.
