My brother just got a new ps3, so basically we're looking to get some co-op on the go. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on good co-op games. We've got MW2 + BF2, but looking for more "2 Person" styled games(FPS, 3rd person, adventure. Anything but sports games). Only articles i could find on this were 2 or 3 years old.

Red Dead Redemption is on the list already ;).

There's the new(ish) Army of Two game (I think it had the tagline the fortieth day or something similar)

I haven't played it, but a friend told me that while it was no means the greatest game in the world it was fun to play

If you are looking for offline co-op [splitscreen], try Resistance 2 and Army of Two: The 40th Day.

For online co-op, try Uncharted 2.

This is one area where I wish the PS3 had more games like GeOW.

Resident evil 5 is a great co op game...
Modern warfare 2 has a set of 20-25 missions (collectively called Spec ops) designed for Co Op play.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 can be played in co-op .... not a bad game in my opinion and there is the terrorist hunt section of it as well as the online multiplayer ....

I'll second Resident Evil 5, I've played through in co-op twice!

Actually linking to threads from last year isn't helpful, regardless of how much you think you can substitute cheek for help.

Actually the same games were mentioned, by and large. And one of the threads was started in December 09.

Irrelevant, the OP is looking for more replies.

Oh, okay. I didn't realise December marked the start of the new year. :P

How do you know the OP was looking for more exactly?

And, if I'd, uh, known I was dealing with a 12 year old, I'd have treated you like one.

"Only articles I could find on this were 2 or 3 years old."

^ This sentence indicated he used the search function, came back empty handed and is looking for more. The date of the old threads may be a bit exaggerated but his point is still quite valid.

Oh yeah, I don't believe I've ever said I was twelve. Sorry if you got that bit mixed up. Would you like to contribute something to the thread other than abuse to the OP and then becoming defensive to other posters?

I abused the OP? Well done, shows you didn't even read it. Must be past your bed time.

I'm not going to get into a silly argument with you. Looking through your past posts you seem to enjoy petty online fights and you always seem to be outsmarted. So I think I'll just leave you along now and hope the petty insults stop. I hope you can improve yourself and become a bit more mature in later life when you have your own responsibilities.

Back on topic, I also recommend Resident Evil 5. Great co-op, especially since the AI is terrible.

Do that if you're going to make stuff up. Seeing what you're like here I couldn't be bothered looking back at your previous, so I'm leaving it that.

Linking to a thread of more replies normally helps if you ask me.

    Anyways,

    Little Big Planet
    Army of Two
    Resident Evil 5
    Resistance 1 and 2
    Modern Warfare 2

How about everyone on this thread sticks to the point and answer the lads question.
If you can get a lan game going GTA 4 is quality in free roam mode. If you can get 3 or 4 of ye together and make up games it's a great laugh!
