Runireland is a good one and AAI site however they only include races which they have issued a permit for

..and are very unreliable at doing that too!
    - often permitted races not listed
    - permits issued v..e..r..y late

Just have a look at the AAI site and see how few non-championship (in other words, club) races are listed. Is it any wonder that races without permits are cropping up all over the place???

I wish someone in the AAI would streamline the process and look after granting permits in a far more timely fashion AND list all permits on the AAI site. If I didn't know better, I might think that the AAI 'couldn't give a fiddlers' about clubs and teh rank and file club member!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Edit: Actually just checked it myself and I'm plesantly surprised that it is more inclusive than I think I've ever seen it before!

Most club sites have a listing of fixtures but I find Mullingar Harriers Fixture list very complete and uptodate (if you're in that part of the country)

    For Cork Fixtures:
Either Eagle AC's fixture list, which lists fixtures for the rest of the year or John Desmond's Cork Running Blogspot, which lists fixtures in the near future.

Racehive.com is a decent site for listings, and it includes a few different sports, tri's, cycling and swimming events. Sleepmonters.ie holds details of most adventure races.
