Is anyone doing, or considering doing, an English Masters in UCC? It's an option next year and I want to get some feedback/voices of experience

I'm considering doing the Med and Ren course, it's very academic apparrently but the class sizes are more like seminars so it'll be a better learning experience too. You basically manage yourself all year with no exams and just a huge essay at the end of the year. If it's the kind of thing you like then it's worth looking into. There are other masters too but all contemporary and I personally don't enjoy studying contemporary material as much as the good old stuff. :)

Thanks for the reply Shoesa. That's the one I'd be least interested in to be honest. Are you studying English at the moment?

Yes I'm in 3rd year at the moment. I love that aspect of English, it's like unlocking a riddle. :) What year are you in?

Yeah, it's quite difficult to interpret alright, if that's what you mean :) I'm doing English and Music Tech in Maynooth (2nd Yr), but I'm from Cork (like)
