Problems are most of them are really poor, fit poorly, come loose during sparing, cover the wrong part of the leg, don't cover the toes properly etc.

These seem to the best as I always find it inhibiting to wear the ones I have currently.

Looking at these and they seem perfect

35 dollars is ok but same again for shipping is why I want to get advice on getting similar closer to home.

What do you want them for, full contact or point sparring? If it's full contact, you're probably best off getting ones that are attached to shin pads.

You might try Blitzsport or Blackeagle, quick delivery and prices are good too

I actually need both. The full ones are hard to use for tkd. I need to get the full ones for Muay Thai at some stage.

I am in Cork so thats not an option.

If your looking to get shinpads with the instep attached, I use these5n5r10xeBodyBlackBlue.jpg

    and I find them excellent.

Afraid I cant comment in footpads on their own

I'm afraid I can't help you with where to get them but I recommend the adidas "full contact" (they're more suited to light/semi) footpads, especially for ITF tkd if that's what you're doing. They've certainly served me well so far.

As an aside, steer clear of fite rite, terrible quality stuff in my opinion...

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to lnk.

I use the addidas full contact ones at the moment. They're OK but don't fit peerfectly

I suppose it depends a lot on the shape and size of your feet, they're a great fit on me anyway. Since footpads come in sizes that cover a range of shoe sizes I might have just gotten lucky.
