Training for Galway Triathlon

    Is anyone preparing for the Cope triathlon in Salthill on the 13th of June, its my first triathlon and would appreciate any tips comments etc that may be helpful !

    Hi, there's a dedicated runners forum here. They can give tips.
    On second thoughts, moved from GC to Running.

    did that one last year and despite the truly awful, shocking weather...I enjoyed it! It was my second tri and it I would recommend it as a first tri. The swim was about 100m longer than 750, the bike route is relatively flat with a head wind on the way out usually and tail wind on the way back. Nice flat run then, no hills. Good luck solid!

    I'd recommend joining the Galway Triathlon Club. Lots of nice people and training help. Have a peek at the website for details.
