Recommend a hat for running

Hoping someone can recommend to me (a baldy) a hat for running. (Ideally a baseball type)
While taking part in WAR last saturday, I got quite badly sunburned on the top of my head.
Not crazy about wearing suncream while running and having it run down into my eyes, so think a hat would do the job.
Tried a sailfish one on in Wheelworx but was too small (I've an oversize noggin).
Any suggestions on a brand and where to purchase.
    Thanks,
    Robert.

A buff might work well. If you get too hot from the headwear, you can stick it around your wrist.

Last year I used ronhill cap , I think I got it online from www.sweatshop.co.uk found it great as it is light and dried out very quickly after a run of when washed and no major overheating problems, it was not size adjustable so this might be an issue for you if you have a larger head.

Try the inov-8 hats on wiggle.co.uk. They seem to review very well.

That's kinda the problem though. Can't really take it off.
No hair + No hat + sun = VERY sunburned head.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

The heat kills me in a hat - gets all sweaty and nasty. You could experiment with different sunscreens - I find the Parasol ones very good, and they sort of sink into the skin, so that there's less drip and sting than some mainerstream brands.

If you really want a hat, some good suggestions already given!

I'm sure you can get lighter ones for the summer too,

I was looking at a very lightweight dri-fit Adidas cap today in JJB Sports, it was €11.
    something like this

I'm familiar with the Parasol sunscreen. My experience with it has been hit and miss.
Now whether this is because I'm not applying it properly or because the skin on top of the head is particularly susceptible to sunburn I don't know. I know that I usually need a minimum of factor 50 for the top of my head, and Parasol only goes to 30.
Thing about a hat it though, it's foolproof, once you have the right one!
Sunscreen can rub off, regardless of the type. You're either wearing a hat or you're not.
Thanks again for all the suggestions.

decent "made for running" hats should be light enough and well ventilated so as not to cause overheating, I also find that the cap also catches sweat from driping into my eyes.

I got a great Nike one in Runways. It's basball style with a mesh top. It also has a strip that runs accross the forehead and stop sweat running into the eyes and stinging them. I wear it constantly in warm weather

A little bit of vaseline on your eyebrows does a good job of keeping sweat out of your eyes. Works really well to stop eyes stinging from suncream (or hair gel if you are a triathlete).

Got a Nike DriFit cap too, perfect. Can't see it in Nike online store now. Got mine in Nike New York store.
