    or has anybody else noticed that Leaving Cert students are getting more relaxed about exams year by year?

    If they were anymore laid back they would be asleep.........

    Yes of course it's just you! Sure why wouldn't they be relaxed when we will give them them sample answers practiaclly do course projects and of course predict what questions will come up so that is all they will have to study?
    Toatally agree with you OP and my third years are even worse!

    They are driving me nuts- im nearly climbing the walls and they are looking at me like ive lost it- like its acceptable to know less now than they did at the beginning of the year!!!

    I'm actually depressed at how little work my Leaving Certs are doing. I know they're a bit distracted at the moment with the orals but they just don't want to do a tap. And to top it all off I had a parent on the phone today nagging on at me about her son not working. Eh, he's 18 & has the Leaving in less than two months- should be enough to get him going. I marked work for the class over Easter from exam papers to aid their revision & did I get it back from her darling boy? Yeah right, I think I'll be waiting. Of course, it's still going to be my fault!!!
