Hi, a family member arrived into work today (monday) to find that their wheelcover has come off their 99 S40. It's a 15' rim. The route was from Shankill along the N11 into Heuston Train Station. Just wondering if anyone noticed a wheelcover fall today?! Thanks!

Do you mean the trim on the wheel? You can get 4 new ones at Aldi or any factors for 15-25 Euro, unless of course someone found it and sees this thread.

    Why the cynical responses?

Just found it! Was just outside Heuston Station, leaning against a wall. Thanks to some helpful passer-by or maybe a bus driver from the depot around the corner who probably rescued it!

I would not bet on finding that hubcap. Honestly I always see blokes in vans pulling in picking up dropped hubcaps from other peoples cars.

better of going to a scrap yard to find an original volvo hubcap or buy a set of nice enough replacements in an auto factors.

How did it make it from the N11 to Heuston and what made you go looking that far away?
