Times for Orwell Wheelers Sunday morning spins

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me about the times of Sunday morning spins with Orwell Wheelers? In March I became a member of Orwell Wheelers. I would like to get some practise with cycling in groups. Last Sunday I arrived at Joe Daly's at 9.45am but missed the cycle group. Not sure if I was too late or just arrived at the wrong time.

Is there anyone who knows the right time for these spins?

    Thanks

They leave at 9:30 and usually go on the dot.

Unfortunately though, the Sunday spins finished up this week for the summer. They'll start again in October. I think the touring group still do a Saturday morning spin during the summer, so it would be worth checking with them.

you would have been too late, they usually leave at 9.30 on sundays

but i think, now dont quote me on it, that sunday was the last beginners spin, you'll now have to go on the touring groups spin which leaves from joe dalys on saturdays at 9am

What's the story with the Orwell Randonee this Sunday, I heard it has been called off?

Thanks for the replies. That's a shame that there are no longer spins on a Sunday morning. Anyone know of any other groups in Orwell Wheelers for a bit of practise cycling in groups (25 - 30kph). I wouldn't mind getting a bit of practise in for WW200.

    Cheers!

The touring group also do a Wednesday night spin, leaving the crossroads at Lamb Doyles at 7ish, check with some of the organising group for that.

Club member phoned Dave McLoughlin (Contact on Irish Cycling Calendar) and was told that Randonee was postponed until later this summer.

Rás na nÓg, second round of the Ladies National league and the Combes Connor Memorial Race are all on the same day, as well as the club's touring group being in Majorca, which means most of the club will be elsewhere on Sunday.

Orwell should put notice of postponement up on Club Site as its still listed on club calendar and Irish Cycling.com calendar.
