    You know how a few weeks ago the country was up in arms with the passport office....people needing to get out of the country fast.....then a couple weeks later a volcano strikes and noone can fly outta the place.........
    What would ya call that?

    1) It's not "ironic."

    2) How is it "Karma", what did these tourists do to deserve it? Surely it'd be a slap in the face if they got hit with being delayed as a result of the Passport Office shíte.

    I just mentioned to my husban earlier this morning what fcukin irony if you'd been goin' nuts to get the passport and then this volcano happened!!!
    We got our sons passports but they aren't due to fly on a rowing trip to Belgium for another 2 weeks.....:eek:

    I guess if you went through a ****load of hassle to get your passport, finally got it, then arrived at the airport only to be told that your flight (and all others) had been cancelled indefinitely, that'd be ironic, wouldn't it?

    The OP wasn't saying it was either. He was asking what description, as in irony or karma or whatever, would you use for the given scenario.

    Well, all I really want is for people to wake up.
    Sometimes people fall for these stories head over feet.
    You learn however that not everyone is perfect, despite having their hand in my pocket.

    I'm not the doctor by the way and I am sure I wont be forgiven for this particular post, despite Mary Jane and her attempts.
    The whole situation is probably not ironic as people have pointed out but I still haven't see a decent description of it.
