    Hi has anyone played Deus Ex on Vista? I picked it up a while back on Steam but when I loaded it up the graphics were messed up. Thought it might be a Vista issue

    I have played the steam version on both Vista and Win 7 with no problems.

    Try using Windows XP compatibility mode?

    Speaking of which, i think its high time that this gem gets another play through.

    Vague old memories here, but it uses OpenGL for video acceleration, which you may not have if you're using the default Vista video drivers due to MS being dicks.

    @Kiith
    Could be wrong but I think it runs in a different compatibility, probably xp, as default

    Any idea how I'd go about getting it to work if that's the case?

    It does offer two choices for graphics settings or something when you load it up, not sure if I'm choosing the wrong options maybe.

    I'd love to get it working as I've never played it before and heard that it's ok :pac:

    Just update them from the card manufacturer site, www.nvidia.com or www.ati.com most likely.

    Have a look around the Steam Forums and see if you can see if others are suffering the same problem.
    I just started playing it the other day on Visat 64 bit and have not had one problem. Maybe updating your graphics drivers might help, but that's a bit of a long shot though.
