NIB Danske funds

Has anyone any opinions on the Danske fund range offered by NIB?

From what I found myself management charges are reasonable, not the cheapest but not the worst either. You have to deal with the tax yourself. The entry charges are a bit vague, giving a maximum charge that could be applied. It may be more specific somewhere else but I haven't found it just yet.

How have people found dealing with them and buying and selling funds online? I have a custody account with NIB but only have bought shares so far. Is there anything else I need to aware of when buying funds through NIB online?

Can you provide any links to the product/s you are looking at?

The website is www.danskeinvest.ie and the particular funds I was looking at are:

    Danske Invest Europe
Danske Invest European Bond Class A
    Danske Invest Global Emerging Markets
    Danske Invest Greater China
    Danske Invest Stockpicking.

I had a look at the website and some of the documentation. It appears that the AMCs for the funds you mentioned are between 0.80% + 1.6% and it does not say whether that includes the 0.10% 'marketing' fee.

Subscription, Conversion and Redemption Fees are vague as you say but it looks like they are entry and exit charges. If so, it's not an attractive proposition IMHO + you have to do the leg work on the taxation.

Thanks for the reply GerardS. The lack of clarity in the pricing structure is really letting them down.

You never know. If they see the click-throughs from the above link, they might just come here and clarify ;)
