Business Plan for BTWE allowance

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has had their meeting with the facilitator regarding the BTWEA recently. How much emphasis was placed on the business plan and what kind of content did you have? Should projections be realistic or should you err on the optimistic or pessimistic side?

Hi there,
My partner was recently approved for this.
The guy in the local area partnership sent out a business plan template(if you pm me your email address I can send this to you) and we pretty much filled in. They are not looking for anything overly complex.
With regard to the figures.....we tried to show that the business was viable, but at the same time that it needed the social welfare assistance to get started.
I got the impression that they were not too strict regarding approving people for the scheme as they are going to be paying the social welfare out to you anyway and you are better off trying to do something while receiving it as apposed to sitting at home and getting the same amount
