First of all I hope this is in the right forum. My laptop hardrive died a few weeks ago and had to be replaced. The laptop was only 8 months old so it was covered by the warranty. When i got the laptop back all my files and programs were gone. I had all my files backed up so thats ok but the programs are gone now. I had just paid 80 euro to unlock the trial version of MS office. What I'm wondering is, is anyone liable to reemburse me for this? Or am I just 80 quid out of pocket?
I rang Microsoft but they said they needed the porduct key. promlem there is that I dont have a product key as the porgram is pre installed as a trial version on my laptop.
    any help would be great.
    thanks
    Sean

How did you pay the €80 to?

Just contact them and see what they say. They should have the product key on file.
