    Promos

Alyssa Milano says she used her many years of awkward dating situations to perfect her role as newly divorced Rebecca on ABC's Romantically Challenged. Premiering April 19 at 9:30/8:30c, the sitcom focuses on a group of friends trying to find love while navigating the world of first dates, new relationships, and one-night stands.

    Starts tonight on ABC

Alyssa Milano plays Rebecca, a recently divorced single mom attorney in Pittsburgh who hasn't dated "since Bill Clinton was president". The show will follow her transition from family life to primary bread winner.

From the pilot episode I can tell this is going to be completely painful. It makes Accidentally On Purpose look thought out and well written. Within the first 5 minutes the awful jokes and tired characters will have you reaching to turn this off.

    DO IT... SERIOUSLY!

The show is essentially a bad remake of How I Met Your Mother with a superfluous teenage son to open the door to "you're so old" jokes.
How this show can be seen as being good by ABC and a show as good as Better Off Ted is being cancelled is beyond me.

The other gripe I have about this show is that there is zero introduction to the characters. I think the bad writer guy is Milano's character's ex-husband (is it just me or do all ex-couples in these recent TV shows have really good relationships with each other post-divorce? seems super realistic to me).
Also, I think the blonde is Milano's character's sister, but not really sure what the relations to the other characters are.
Continuing on the blonde woman, she is essentially also a total rip-off character of a combination between Ashley Jensen's character Olivia in Accidentally On Purpose and Megan Mullally's Karen in Will & Grace.

Not even a giggle to this clunker - waste of 21 mins 29 seconds of my life.

    0/10
