Unusual Noise

    Hi all,

While driving to work this morning I encountered a very unusual noise in the car. It was like a rubbery squeaky noise, like the windscreen wipers running across a dry windscreen. It only happened when I went above 50mph, and as the journey progressed it only happened above 60mph eventually stopped. Each squeak was accompanied by the needle on the speedo shaking a little bit. This has only ever happened once before, a few months ago during the cold spell. It was quite cold this morning too, but this doesn't happen every time it's cold.

    Anybody got a any suggestions?
