Have lost over 2 stone with WW lately and my goal was for a wedding in 12 days times. Really happy with myself but dress (am bridesmaid) is quite tight and while I am not really looking for a quick fix - well I guess I am:confused:but am hoping that someone here can suggest something that I could do/take to boost weight loss this week or reduce my belly being bloated on the day. Always take linseed in porridge in the morning as I am told that help and drink alot of water, but any extra thing I could do short term without actually starving myself???

Breakfast: Porridge with skimmed milk, linseed, blueberries and gogi berries
    Apple

Snack around 11am - some fruit or yoghurt like pineapple, banana

Lunch: Sandwich with normally chicken relish and alot of salad -no butter

Dinner - stir fry with noodles prawn lots of veg and a 'blue dragon' sauce (prawn could be swapped with chicken or beef depending on day)

Snacks: latte with skimmed milk, low fat crisps, meringue nest with fat free jelly or something similar

would have 2/3 cups of coffee during the day and a jug of either water/pur tea or green tea

God this sounds like alot when I write it down. I walk (stroll with a double buggy) every day and go swimming for 45 mins 3 times a week

Could you make suggestions to boost my loss during this next fortnight?

a couple of things stick out here..
i'm afraid the latte could take a holiday fo the next few weeks. very little protein also in there... would increse that if possible..

some form of protein at each meal.. crisps & meringue nest =( say goodbye to them for a while! sorry). if possible sub in some nuts, natural yoghurt, some mixed salad etc as snacks through the day.

leave the butter in also.. kerrygold is pretty good stuff!

training will have to change also if your to see real change in your body. intervals of something along the lines of 2 mins walk/1 min jog x5-10 rds should be a good starting point . once you find that handy enough .. make it harder without hesitation i.e reduce the time - up the speed..

even do it in the pool.. 2 lengths steady pace/ 1 length quick.. maybe 4-6 times!

You aren't going to make any sort of noticeable difference in 12 days tbh.
But its a good idea to keep it up after the big day.

agree with this and cut out the bread (have salad with dressing at lunch ) and noodles (have lots of veg in the stir fry) for next while.

do some weights from home as this will help massively

chuck101 - I considered giving up the latte but I don't like milk and it seems the best way to get calcium, it's skimmed and I make it with the nesspresso machine so thought that was healthy enough, no?

crisps and meringue nest gone, don't want to add nuts in though. I take your point, they are healthy but have alot of calories and am trying to reduce for the next fortnight, will try natural yoghurt tomorrow tough. I don't eat butter - kerrygold I thought would be quite bad?

Went for a walk today and while I didn't manage your suggestion as I walk with a double buggy I did 'go faster'

Transform, interesting what you said about the bread & noodles. I didn't have bread today had salad as you suggested as also had more veg and less noodles (still have some:o)but I feel much lighter so do think that was good advice. Actually my big problem before I started WW was bread. Was never one for chocolate or junk food just loads and loads of toast/bread/bagels.

Will look into doing some weights at home - any particular ones that would help tummy area and 'bingo wings'

Thanks for those replies, great food for thought - will let you know how what I implement works

+1 on this. Dropping the bread and noodles will have an immediate effect. You'll drop water and feel less puffy in general, plus you'll also notice a difference in abdominal bloating...you'll most certainly notice a drop in waist size. If you're talking about looking good in a dress in 12 days time, doing this while keeping lots of protein in your diet, drinking lots of water and doing the weight routine Transform posted will will give you the best chance!

Wow thanks - Day 2 and I can't believe I notice a difference already. Going to do that link now transform thanks

Thought without bread I would have no energy but if anything have more with all the extra veg and adding more protein.
