Scandinavia by ferry

    Anybody know if their is a way to get a ferry from Ireland or Uk to Scandinavia as am supposed to go next week but with this volcanic ash it will be difficult by plane.

    There's a ferry route from Harwich, Essex, in the UK, to Esbjerg in Denmark.

    Its nearly as quick to get the ferry to the Hook of Holland from Harwich and drive the rest of the way.. me and a mate drove from The Hague (only about 30 minutes north of The Hook of Holland) to Copenhagen in one day without any problems, fantastic roads and if you have a decent car, which we didnt :D, you'll fly it.. we did it in about 10 hours and you're on the correct side of Denmark to take the tunnel to Sweden.

    The ferry to Esbjerg is expensive (€600+ for car and 2 people if you get a cabin) and takes around 16 hours iirc..
