i recently met a lovely woman and we get on really well and all the rest. the problem is that she has some noticeable facial hair on her chin.... i don't mean to sound shallow, but this isn't exactly a turn on for me, should i say it to her and if so, how?!

Strange, but I wouldn't hold out much hope that saying it to her will have much effect. If she has hair on her chin, surely she has to be aware of it. But for some reason has decided not to remove it....?

Or maybe she just doesn't realise it looks so bad, maybe she has no mirrors with good light in the house or something?

How is the rest of her appearance...?

What have you got to loose by saying something? If the choice was hearing some potentially hurtful or embarrassed truth or loosing my bf without ever knowing why, I know which I'd choose.

Of course not everyone is perfect and she may well tell you where to go - but if it's going to make a relationship with her impossible anyway then it's best dealt with sooner rather than later.

Bad news is always best given in a good news sandwich, start off with all the good stuff that you like and leave some for after your comment re facial hair. Make sure you tell her in her home so she has the freedom to be embarrassed or upset in private and has the option to ask you to leave.

    Best of luck.

If I was crazy about someone and something about me (that I could change) was a huge turn-off for them, I would want to know. Tell her, but handle it as sensitively as possible. She may have a condition like PCOS and be all too aware of it or she may not. You'll only know when you broach the subject with her.

    Hey,

I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning it

BUT you say you've only met her recently - so maybe wait till you know each other a bit better? And be very careful how you say it. Just point it out at first - like "hey, you've got a bit of hair on your chin"....
