Has anyone ordered any hurls from that site www.handcrafthurls.com

It was on Dragons Den last Thursday, seems like a good idea to me. Just wondering if the service is worth using.

the idea of the concept is basically to "create" a middle man between the public and the hurley makers and take a slice of the action .

similar to the way a travel agent operates - they can get the best deals....but its possible for you to sometimes save money dealing with the people yourself.

all you have to do is contact one of the hurley makers and discuss what you want yourself...and negotiate your own deal....most good hurlers/clubs will use the same source as they appreciate the standard - getting a personally made hurley will cost that bit extra, chances are that you will visit the premises to collect so that saves postage fees that the website charges.

its a novel idea - but it creates a false market - clubs will goto the hurley makers directly, tourists and people with money to burn/waste will goto the website ....its a gimmick - but if people believe the gimmick ...sales will go up....and up....if marketed properly it can convince people that its capable of offering the best deal.
