Fugly eFlow toll tag!

Does anyone else have a toll tag installed in their car?

I registered for the eFlow one, thinking it'd be quite handy, but the tag they sent me out is a bit of a monstrosity in size. I was hoping for something about the size of a matchbox, but they sent me something about the size of my hand (palm + fingers), that comes out a good two inches off the windscreen. It just seems a bit stupid looking to be honest.

Anyone else with a better size toll tag out there who'd recommend their provider?

Move to any of the operators using Kapsch tags, they're tiny. Etrip definitely use them.

    I have a toll-tag one. It's small enough,you don't really notice it after a while!

Ditto for tolltag.ie - run by parkmagic, so really handy if you use on-street parking in limerick/cork.

I'm going to have the NRA Chairman's ear in a few weeks and I'm going to moan about the necessity of a tag when plate reading is already in operation in a number of locations such as Dublin Airport, M50 toll and private car parks.

Last time I spoke to him he advocated a tag, and I moaned then. I think if I keep at it at at lunch as long as I'm sitting in the same meeting with him once a month, it might happen....or maybe that's just wishful thinking, but I have already got a plate recognition account and I don't want one of the fugly things on my windscreen.

I can't even see the Kapsch tag behind my mirror on either car... the massive Melodhy unit in the spare van in work is visible though!

As an alternative to the tag you could register for a video account with eflow? The cameras detect your plate and charge you so no need for a tag. I know a couple of friends who are registered for this and seems to work well.

It sounds like the older version. I used to have one of these about 5 years ago.Maybe it's my old one

another vote for the tolltag.ie one...barely visible behind the mirror, and same account top-up for street parking in Cork and Limerick. Very useful if you never have change/cash like myself!

Only works on the M50 toll AFAIK.

Yes the video account works only on the M50, and each trip is €2.50 as opposed to €2.

Just asked them if they offered multiple brands, and they said that's the only one they have :/

Can anyone that uses TollTag.ie tell me what the lease option charges are? Maybe they're hidden after all these login & register links..

I paid for the tag up front something like 30 quid (I cant fully remember) And there is no subscription charge and no minimum balance (if you have auto topup on the min balance is 12 quid or something)
